Westy pop top foam mattress replacement

Hi All,

Ages since I've been on here - just back from a few days camping in Exmoor - (Cloud farm camp site recommended!) - anyway, me and the Mrs were wondering if anyone has changed the foam in the roof bed of their Westy pop top? Only ours is very thin and we both bottom out on the hard surface below.

If so, what type of foam did you use? and where did you get it from?

Considered getting a memory foam topper, but don't want to have to cart yet another big item around (along with the dog, toddler, scooter, bike etc etc etc!)

Any useful info gratefully received!

Hi, I'm not sure what area you are from but I live in Oldham near Manchester and have used these guys http://www.foamshop.me.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they have made me fam bases for my bed in the high top and just supplied new foam and re-covered my rock and roll bed. Nice guys and will give you the best advice on what type of foam to use. Hope his helps

The forum gets some regular spammers - there is one that delights in posting in campers with nonsensical posts like the one above. The poor grammar is a one of their trade marks. They come back later and put their links in. This one has done the same in wanted.
