canvas hassle
Recently bought a westy from a guy who had just fitted a new JK canvas(cheaper one) It was so tight the roof wouldn't elevate properly. ~JK agreed it was a problem with the cut of the canvas and sent a replacement which came with the van when I bought it. Just tried to fit it, and its WAY too tight. There's no way of fitting it at the back.Seems all wrong. According to the part no. its the right one 1986 - 90 - fixed with aluminium strips), but it definately doesn't fit. I think I'm going to sack it and order a new one Obviously want to avoid JK in the light of recent experience. Any thoughts about which one to go for? ~Thanks.
