brake pad fitting kit
just got new girling early calipers and the fitting kit that came with them for the pads is the H shape. my old calipers had the cross shape. i could not see how these fit so stuck my old cross spring clip back in. is this right just cant see how they sit on the pads it looks impossible. Has anyone got any pic. my old calipers had a big g on the side and unless they were fitted with the wrong spring clip in the first place, but my 84 trannsporter was the same?????

Re: brake pad fitting kit
I know what the next question is going to be and I can't see and reason why either kind of anti rattle plate couldn't be used. The pads are the same, the spacing of the pins are the same the plates will be interchangeable although the top ATE type are much more common.

Re: brake pad fitting kit
Like Martin says, long as they fit and the pads can't fall out, thats all that matters.
