Re: rad cards

Re: rad cards
well replaced my rad today ( from B'werks) and I was going to ask if anybody knew where to get the card, didn't see that on B'werks so thanks.
looks to me like you could just make the other two from the lower one it's almost enough card and at £4.30 x 3 worth a go.
Mine are in tact but looking very tired, wozza825y I will get a pic up so you can see what they look like.

Re: rad cards
OK so I found a piece of 1mm thick dark grey plastic in the shed today and made some
Plastic was a felt support tray like this, probably get a single somewhere.
http://www.screwfix.com/p/felt-support- ... tid=156974" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Yet to see if they will take the heat, I poured boiling water on the plastic and it was bendy but I doubt they will get to 100 deg
if they do I'll make some more out of something else.
They are the same profile each side but one side has a hole cut for the rad fan switch, I was concerned about plastic rubbing on the wires so I added some sleeve.
The cards are bent opposite ways each side and set at 50 degree on the main bend by a strap, I used a cable tie on the ones I made as it's easier.
there is a cutout by the grill which has no use on mine so I left it out of one of the cards to make it stronger.
the all important dimensions....
