gas fitting size
hi all could someone tell if the gas fitting on an rm212 fridge is 10mm please ? thanks jeff

Normal size for the pipe connected to it is 8mm, can't imagine it being anything bigger than that.

The manual (section 9) says the inlet is 1/8"BSP female and the metal pipe is normally 3/16" OD.

just found out im missing something from the gas connection , any idea where i can get the part marked in yellow ?

Take the brass fitting off the end and take it to a plumbing merchant and get them to see what fits. All you are missing is the nut and olive, which will be on the pipe that is missing. It will be 8mm compression, the above mentioned sizes are imperial measurements and you won't get them easily. If your not sure what your doing, get someone to do it for you. You don't want a gas leak, directly above the fridge burner.

thanks lloydy sorry i used your pic mate but it was a great help not only for the gas connection but for the 12v wiring as well

Ah that's not your fridge, its not mine either
if you really are missing the whole pipe highlighted and you need to attach to the gas valve, then take the gas valve into the plumbing merchant and just see what fits

It looks like a union type rather than a nut and olive, so could be tricky

i think the fitting for where the silver pipe joins is a 10mm so id need to get a reducer down to 8mm
