Re: help needed.
oph heck fella. sounds like you took both pads out and pressed the pedal then (cant make the noise ) pedal went down and piston in caliper popped out a bit and now brakefluid is passing the seal, sound about right so far?

Re: help needed.
Brickwerks sell complete calipers.. bolt on and pipe up
just make sure you buy the right one, send your old caliper to them and they will return the correct ones.

Re: help needed.
You could try new seal kits but given your level of knowledge and experience you may be better off with a service exchange calliper.
As long as you are sure it's only the one side that is binding? then although these should really be replaced in pairs you should be OK with just the one unit and 500ml of brake fluid to bleed both the fronts.
You just need to establish whether yours are made be GIRLING or ATE as they need to be a pair.

Re: help needed.
Thanks lads, i have bought replacements from Brickwerks and some new front hoses, and faggie is gonna help me put them on, what a god send to him for helping me out, just hope they get here for wednesday as im off. couldnt wait to send mine so just got the early Girling ones which have a big G on front as do the ones i have on now. gonna replace both sides too, when i get back from devon its discs pads and bearings. I can do them as i did them on my old transporter, just never done brake bleeding and pipe work so its a lesson for me on wed with faggie.

Re: help needed.
good and good on the fag costs but makes sense to do both front as it would only come back and bite you another day

Re: help needed.
Don't get the brake pads mixed up and it'll be spot on and not even need bedding in.
