Early Tailgate Lock

I've recently changed my tailgate to an early one. My question is which lock parts do I need to change. I know a new lock barrel is needed, I think the triangle part needs changing too but does the striker plate need changing also ?

The triangle part ( sorry don't know what it's called ) I've got is too big, does any one have or an take pictures of the correct parts to facilitate my search. Knowing my luck I'd definitely buy the wrong bits.

As far as I am aware you need nothing other than a new early tailgate lock and possibly a new tailgate lock seal if the early tailgate has neither of these on it

You can then rekey the lock to your existing key. There is a small pin that needs knocking out to remove the push rod on the end of the barrel then the barrel can be removed and the lock wafers rejigged to fit your key

Thanks for the reply. The triangle lock mechanism ive got is too big, I've got two different ones and neither fit. I'm waiting for the new barrel lock to arrive then ill take it from there. May need to shave off a millimetre or two from the underside of the tailgate so it should then fit.
