RONAL ALLOYS?
Hi everyone. Just bought a set of old school Ronal alloys (penta style) made in West Germany "87". They are 8J x 16 H2 E11. Tyres are Pirelli P7's 225/55/R16 95V. My question to all you guys in the know is does the E11 stand for the ET of the wheel as they do not have an actual stamp on them with "ET". They were bought from a guy who had them on his westy. They sat nice on his van even being lowered and as far as we could see there had been no modifications to the controller arm or any signs of rubbing under the arches or lip. Compared to the 5.5J x 14 standard steelies I have on my van now they look MASSIVE!. Oh also I have a Porsche 944 steering wheel on at the moment, so if these wheels will fit ok will it be to heavy a ride? Thanks Di.

Re: RONAL ALLOYS?
E11 is the offset...ET11.
Too low an offset to use on a T25 and especially being 8" wide.

Re: RONAL ALLOYS?
Thanks for the reply Steve. Is that a definite NO CAN'T BE DONE! Just wondering why they were on another T25? Any way around this? Cheers.

Re: RONAL ALLOYS?
The wheels were on a westfalia joker. Does this make a difference as it's left hand drive? Its definitely been driven with them on because we had to weld another wheel nut on top of the locking wheel nuts to get them off so they wasn't just put on as a gimmick to sell. Check out Ebay motors T25 breaking. If anyone can make sense of this please reply. Kind regards, Dianne. HELP!

This is a perfect example of how people who "think" just because a wheel is 5X112 that they will "fit" another, totally different, vehicle with the same 5X112 PCD but don't even consider the offset and width!
By all means fit them if you want to be "cool" but they'll make it drive like a wheel barrow....your choice though...
Below is how 7X16 ET23 alloys look....so 8X16 and ET11 will sit outside of the wheel arch.

Kindly stop shouting and wind ones neck in and read my reply again but without wine or homebrew!
I stated the alloys should not have been fitted to a T25 BEFORE you bought them!
I look forward to your next reply to yet another alloy wheel "will these fit" question seeing as I saved you over 300 quid on your last guess at what might fit...

Re: RONAL ALLOYS?
But they "fit" don't they....
I am starting to think it's probably best for me to keep quiet and let people waste a few hundred quid on alloys that don't "fit" rather than buying alloys that actually do fit....
