Where do people locate their starter battery and leisure battery (batteries)?
When i bought my syncro it had a small starter battery under the passenger seat (LHD) and there were two batteries sat in either side of the engine bay which i presumed were leisure batteries but were not connected up.
Is this how most people locate their batteries??

L/H/D petrol engined vehicles original spec..starter battery under the passenger seat, leisure under the drivers seat.
Diesel engined L/H/D...leisure battery still under drivers seat but the starter is moved to the right side of the engine(when stood infront of the engine bay from the rear).
Of course thats just standard, where you put them is up to you.

Re: Battery Location
Mines petrol. Starter batt under drivers seat using quick release clamps (you soon discover the value of those) and a whopping leisure batt (saves worrying about what size batt fits where) in my DIY buddy seat - again easy access.
