Hey torchy
Mine's exactly the same (offside on RHD). I notice you're in Bristol, so will be interested to hear how you manage to tackle it. I'm not a welder, so planned to take mine up to MAD in kingswood and get them to do it and also attack back of the n/s front wheelarch (seat box/floor junction and A post/seat box junction badly corroded). I took it up there last year and they reckoned all that'd be £3-400 (£35+VAT per hr), but I haven't got round to stripping floor and stuff out yet. I'm not sure whether they were relying on getting a factory repair panel tho (hope not)!!
I haven't used them before but they've been at it for years and I'm assured by others that they're up to the job. I'll probably get front end rebushed and stuff while they're at it.
Cheers,
John
