carb filter

hi everyone how do you go about removing the carb filter?can you actually see this filter as i am struggling to see it and i dont want to damage it,cheers dave
its better to burn out than to fade away 1.9 dg petrol transporter1988

Pull off fuel pipe. See the brass stem? Inside that is the filter. Use a largish self tapping screw inside the inlet to get a bite on it and pull it out.
