auto conversion

Post by groovycat »

Hi peeps..
I've bought a 1.6td bus for my wife.. she only drives autos. So i need to do a conversion.
What auto boxes fit the 1.6td engine..???
Or is it worth doing a 1.9tdi/auto conversion.whats the implications..

Thanks all.

I have to ask.
Why did you buy a manual T25 in the first place?

Cause i got it cheap,cheap.
Push comes to shove...i can drive it to the shows/camping (although its gonna be all flowery and girlie)and she can drive my t5 auto..
There hard to find in auto....
But manager to find a couple of autos breaking...just need to know whats compatable..

Or like i say ,,i'll buy a Passat auto 1.9tdi and lob it in the t25...
