Badge adhesive removal

Post by Bulldog1 »

Hello,

I've looked in the WIKI and can't find anything on this!
I've removed the rear tailgate badges to re-paint the camper and am left with the black, sticky double sided tape.
Does anyone know how to remove this as I've tried and tried, without much success.

Any ideas appreciated.

Try a toffee wheel / stripe removal wheel. Fits on a drill and removes adhesive, stickers or whatever without damaging paint. Go easy though and don't allow it to get too hot and burn the paint. Best to practice on something else first, but they do work well.

Cheers, j

Lot of places sell 'sticky stuff remover' - cheap and will get it all off.
Roller paint your camper at home: http://roller.epizy.com/55554/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for MP4 download.

This sounds odd but works incredibly well on sticker residue. WD40!
Put it on a cloth and keep rubbing and putting a little more on.
Works wonders without damaging paintwork.
Great on old window sticker residue too.
