T25 diesel dipstick!

Dear all,

I've had my T25 diesel van for a year. I've hit a problem - someone stole my dipstick last week and I can't find a replacement.

Any ideas anyone???

They're hard to find. Probably why it was stolen in the first place. Put a post in the 'Wanted' forum - there's a few van breakers on here and one might have one.

A few questions!
Anyone have a T25 diesel dipstick or know where I can get one?
Mine's broken at the top. The oil cap work its way loose and the top part is missing.

Will oil come out of the top of the oil cap where the dipstick goes?

I'm not sure if this is related but I've seen oil on the floor where the exhaust is.
Can this be related to an overfill of oil in the engine?

I think the original op wont mind considering the dates on the posts!


common thing , I created a little item to help stop this. its a little bracket that stops you opening the service flap unless the tailgate is open!
