Squeaky over bumps F/O/S
I'm I right in thinking it may be ball joint? Is there an easy way to determine a knackered ball joint

No, it'll be wishbone bushes. Even when you fit new ones they can still squeak. Mines been squeaky for years - lets me know I'm going too fast on a bumpy road

They'll squeek for quite a while but then start to wobble and knacker the tyres.

Does anybody know if the Poly bushes from Brickwerks squeak too. I know they are more expensive but maybe another reason to justify the extra expense!

No they don't BUT neither do standard non-worn bushes

Re: Squeaky over bumps F/O/S
I thought I had read on here that someone replaced their bushes with the rubber ones and after a few weeks the squeaks returned much to their annoyance!

I disagree...more likely dry ARB bushes (anti roll bar) if the noise came back.
Easy to see the top wishbone bushes have gone...looking from the end (front of vehicle) the bolt head should be 'Centred' in the middle of the bush.....when they go the bolt head moves very obviously 'OFF CENTRE'.
