horn keeps beeping of own accord

I changed the support bush in the steering column yesterday (plastic bush) due to some play, and the horn now keeps going off when doing tight turns.
Any ideas as to what the problem is? I have dimantled and refitted it again today and it's still doing it,driving me mad it is. I'm off to Coney farm tomorrow and am going to need my horn, so I can't disconnect it..

Had this with mine recently, after changing back to a standard wheel, I just reshaped the spring contact down so it wasn't quite so under tension onto the wheel...seemed to cure mine... Maybe the bush is slightly deeper than your worn one??
