gas 'n' go!

Post by uncle monty »

hi everyone!

I bought a project westy and now have the interior in place

However, can't get the gas supply to the cooker/fridge or anything!

Has LPG tank under van dial says 90%

I might have the electrical connections wrong (see water tank pump post)

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I'd like to say no how silly of me - makes it easy.

I think the answer is yes though

I checked the cupboard three valves open (as per the manual) and the main valve tap under the van

AUF = off ZU = on is that right?

I'm going to try again tomorrow - thanks for your help!

Could I ask a question about your Joker wiring?

I had to guess my wire connections when reinstalling for;

the two wires going to the tap,
two wires above the freshwater tank, and
two wires to the floor by the gas feed

Mines a 86 Joker so I'd hope you'd have the same colour wires

Could you confirm the colour connections here please.

Thanks for your help!

Other way around I believe (hopefully that's why nothing's working :D )

The only one that should make a difference is the pump wiring. If you get that the wrong way, it'll blow rather than suck. Otherwise, the tap is just make/break, and the ice-prevention-heater should work either way round.

<thinks> Only two wires above the tank? No float gauge wiring?

Thanks for the advice and the German lesson

Much appreciate

Yeah there's some wires on the side of the tank which to be fair were tagged with location.

Going to swap the wires on top

cheers!

Maybe the dial is faulty and the tank is empty?
