hole in water tank

Hi all. Does anyone know what sort of filler i can use which is safe to fill a 50p size hole in the fresh water tank. And also how can i find my membership number ive forgotten it and did not put it down on anything.thanks. :?:

Is the hole at the top, on the side, on the bottom?

I'd probably just araldite or sikaflex a piece of hard plastic over the hole. The higher on the tank, the greater the chance of success, since you won't have the weight of water pushing against it. If it is below the waterline, and you can get to it inside, then do the same there, too, to withstand the force better.

Thanks for that.the hole is about half way up on the right hand almost on the edge ill give it try. Ive still got some sikaflex left over from doing the windows.
