Solex 34 Pict 4-5?

Hi. Just wondering about the PICT 4-5 carb

What is the black pipe work at the front?

Would this replace a standard solex 34 pict 4?

I've got one of those on my 1.9dg.

The black thing at the front is the throttle damper.

Runs okay in mine, not the most powerful but pretty decent economy.

The 34 Pict 5 were on DFs and I think the Pict 4 were on CT code engines originally.

Hello,

That is a nice second-hand solex pict 34-4 for sale. at 119€ plus postage.

Looks clean, and has been overhauled...

It is a standard CT 1600 carb....

IIRC isn't that what you've already got.... if so.. then why havnt you got the damper.. and other bits?
