Eber Tee Piece

Post by billybigspud »

Would this be the correct size for teeing in the fuel line for an eber. I have had a search and some say 7mm and some say 8mm. It is for a 2.0 a/c

If not, where could I get one from?

It depends upon where in the fuel line you are tapping and the inside diameter of your fuel line at that point and the outside diameter of your Eberspächer fuel line. I have one here 8mm x 8mm x 4.5mm. You may well need 7 x 7 x 4/4.5mm. Eberspächer and Webasto fuel lines tend to be 4/4.5mm unless you have a 5Kw or so heater. I use 3.5/4mm jointing hose to give a tight fit. That one that you have linked to is a bit of overkill - there is no need for that scale of engineering! (and wrong outlet size)
Time to do some measuring!

Thanks for the help.

I am going to tee in just after the petrol tank. All the fuel lines are in good condition but look a bit of a mish mash so I think I am going to sort them out anyway. I will be able to have a proper measure then. :ok
