Hi. Need some help was taking the screw out of the middle of my distributor the one that is under the felt pad and I dropped it in engine bay. Can't find it now so don't have it to take somewhere and match it up wondered if anyone knew we're I could get one or if the ones round the side of distributor are exactly the same so I could match off one of them. Cheers.

Just popped the screw out of my spare and it's M4x6 with a flat washer and a split antivibration washer. I think a slightly longer 8mm screw would be fine. Screw head style not inportant ( not CSK though )

Firstly, why? Secondly, make sure the screw hasn't fallen inside the dizzie.

What it is i put a new advance distributor vacuum unit as mine was shot and knocked timing out so van wont start so was messing about trying to get it at least going so i could get it to garage to get timing set up .so didnt really know what was i was doing. any help would be gratefull
