help please! joker interior wiring

Post by uncle monty »

Hi there!

I got a few issues that maybe some people can help me with.

I bought a 1986 westy joker t25 project and I'm installing the interior including the wiring but having trouble with:

Water tank - I have double brown wires and white wire - do these go at the bottom two connections? which order?

two pin fridge socket - I've the three wires blue/brown/yellow green to connect any particular order?

Finally, off the main bunch of wires to the auxiliary battery under the sink area i have some beefy brown wires with eye connectors - one single, one double - can't see where these go to. any answers?

Thanks for reading and appreciate any advice.

I have recently had out the entire interior if my 86 westy and looking back at the before pics I can see that in the water tank it's the double brown at the bottom most, then the white , then the yellow and finally a double green at the top.
Can't help with the plug wiring I'm afraid it's a sealed plug in my van.

I think I can see the two brown wires with eyelets are fixed earth points on the central panel 'seam' ditectly behind the sink unit. Didn't undo those so don't have specific pics showing where they should go.

Hope that helps!

One more cheeky question which I forgot ask on my post that you might help me with.

I have to connect the wires to the small relay box thing by the earth terminal of the aux battery under drivers seat.

two wires come from the front (connected) any particular order for the ones coming from unit bunch?

I have either three or four to connect up - can't remember!

Again thanks!

Not sure how that wires up- havent had to redo it yet- do a search for westy split charge relay- theres a really good diagram floating about somewhere on here. Your realy should be a 5 pin with 2 87 pins iirc.

Ok I have a red/white, brown, and green bunched together in a black wrapper. The green is one of the double greens to the top of the water tank. The red/white connects to the blue of the water pump and the brown connects to the brown of the water pump.

Any help?
