Hi can someone tell me where one of the thin pipes from the air box of a 1.9 dg engine goes? One of them goes to the vacuum unit however the other has come off and I can't see where it connects to in the rear corner of the engine bay?
It's the thin black pipe in the far right hand corner of the photo (although photo is not of my engine)
Thanks

You see the 2 rubber hoses on top of the air filter housing ? One is a vacuum to the warm air unit and the other goes to the back of the carb.

Thanks Ian, sorry to sound stupid but what exactly is the warm air unit? I can only see the plastic warm air pipe in that corner but no obvious connection to attach the pipe to? Thanks!

There's a small plastic (or metal ?) spigot for the vac hose to push on, it can be blanked off anyway and all the plastic gubbins after the air filter in the o/s/r removed ... in our 'mild' climate the air warmer is unneccesary.

Cheers for that Ian. Hopefully the 'mild' weather will be here very soon!
