Sticky Steering wheel

Post by shorehambeach »

My original skinny steering wheel gets sticky when the van is hot /moist (steady now... :rollin )

I don't want to replace it ...Can I use some type of solvent to remove the surface ?

I cleaned mine with some heavy duty hand cleaning wipes then stiched on a leather cover from ebay, much better as I'm sure it'll just go sticky again.
