Starter Motor

Post by Mave »

Hi

Would anyone know what the part number is on a starter motor for a T25 Watercooled 1.9 Petrol Year 1990???

Need mine replaced as van won't start, I can order one from Belfast but they need the original part number on the starter motor.

The reason I am asking, the van is still in my garden and the mechanic has not taken out the starter yet, therefore want to get it ordered before it goes to the garage.

Thanks a million

I'll try (watch some bugger go and spoil it )

It might be an idea to add 'manual' or 'Auto' to your signature as there are several other components that are different and it may help us to help you again in the future.

Cheers, Ian.

Your local auto electrician can probably refurb yours for a lot less than the price of a new one.
