In need of help....

Post by Oh Danny Boy »

Hi all,

Sorry for the repost, but am in desperate need. Someone take pity please.....

I need an auto electrician to wire up our zig. Just a basic/standard set up - lights, fridge, whale pump, battery relay etc. Everything will be in place, just need someone to wire it all up.
I appreciate it is supposed to be quite an easy job, however it is still really not something i feel comfortable doing myself, so would rather pay someone to do it instead.
If anyone has any recommendations, or indeed if any auto electricians happen to be reading, then please let me know.
I am based in Milton Keynes.

Thanks,

Not exactly right around your corner, but in the absence of anything closer, hardly a million miles away...

P W Auto Electrics. Unit 2 Berkhampstead Road, Chesham, Buckinghamshire HP5 3ET 01494 793838

I've used 'em a few times, and a mate used to send a lot of work to Paul from his own workshop. Top guy.

You don't have to use an auto electrician to wire up a Zig. Any electrician should be able to sort that as it's pretty simple, just make sure they are aware that everything has to be done in flexible cable. Two core sheathed 1.5mm is the norm, ebay, caravan supplies etc.

@ AdrianC - Thank you buddy. If i cannot find a mobile to come to me or someone nearer by the end of next week then i'll give them a shout. Really appreciate that. :ok

@ 1664 -yeah that was my thoughts, but i spoke to two sparks and neither wanted to know. Because of the 12v, and relay charger etc, they said to find someone who specialises in that. So that is what i am (trying) doing. Cheers.
