multivan bed fitting in a caravelle HELP!

Any help appreciated, the bed is the type that fits in to the sides of the van obviously the bed is narrower than the caravelle benchseat, the bed came with some spacer type brackets which should solve the base fitting, the bit im most unsure of is the backrest fitting to the pins on the sides to allow backrest to lock in and release etc. also when looking at the base it looks like it needs lifting up slightly to reach the existing bolt holes in the side as if it will need packings under the feet of the metal framework. Has anyone fitted this type already and overcome these problems, will save me headscratching and mistakes, many thanks in advance cheers Andy. PS. ive noticed on photos some rubber type dumbell shape thingys on the backrest pins?

better to just fit a caravelle westfalia full width rear seat it just bolts in needing no modification

yes your right, just got fed up waiting for one to turn up, unless you have a spare one your selling cheap lol thanks Andy
