Zig cf8 or relay
Hi all fitting a split charge system in the van . now I can get the zig for free but is the relay system in the wiki better have read good and bad about the zig cheers. Mac

I don't think that the Zig has a split charge relay system in it.
It has a switch that will connect the leisure battery to the starter battery but you'd have to manually operate the switch each time you started to engine (then remember to turn if off when you stopped).
Also, I would suspect that the wiring to the Zig (and possibly the Zig's internal wiring) might not be the best/safest way to pass the high currents that you might get between the two batteries.
I'd def go with a separate split charge system.
