Hi, I am having trouble with my 1988 1600 diesel turbo T25, from first start up, the heating will get hot and stay hot for a 6-8 miles, then will go freezing cold and stay cold.
we have bled the radiator, and it hasn't made any difference.
does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks
Alice xx

Re: Heating Trouble
Almost certainly not been bled fully.
I suggest doing it again Details in our wiki HERE and much more info HERE
Is the left hand tank in the engine bay full to the brim ? If not it should be (in case you didn't already know that
)
Does the temp gauge stay where it should once warmed up (ie in the middle, give or take a bit)

Re: Heating Trouble
p.s. You should get this sorted as our engines, both petrol and Diesel don't take kindly to any airlocks
(can result in a cracked head
)
