Re: aerodynamics
There was a custom "long nose" German T3 at Vanfest last year, metallic burgundy colour, Borbets, mad bodykit etc.

Re: aerodynamics
Looking at the bus it does seem to have different "stance" than most on here and is very low at the rear , or high at the front. Think I'll check the spring ratings this afternoon and post some pics

Re: aerodynamics
Couldn't see any colours on the springs (except rust red). so here are the pics , taken of the bus facing both ways on the same piece of slightly sloping ground (downward left to right).
views please, do i need to lower the front, lift the rear or leave it alone. A spirit level on the gutter indicates that it is pointing uphill at the front in both photographs, just less so in the one facing right.

Re: aerodynamics
Yes but once you put a couple of adults in the front it drops and levels out.

Re: aerodynamics
Apparently two adults is not enough.my mate says as I pass his shop it rides high

Re: aerodynamics
What year is the van?
This came up on the forum sometime ago with ride height and the front was slightly higher
There was a year when VW did this, so you have a rare van.
How cool is that
E D I T... Ah it wasn't 1990
The colour marks are on the bottom or the top
mine looks like yours in stance

Re: aerodynamics
I just don't think it helps the problem with the light/vauge steering on motorways.
Going to look into fitting a cover on the roof tray on the weekend see if that helps with noise and a bit more 'downforce' LOL!

Re: aerodynamics
A front spoiler makes the biggest difference to handling, even on a standard ride height van. Less air under the front = stability.

Re: aerodynamics
is it a diesel van ? why not just add another rubber packer to rear spring seat to level it up

Re: aerodynamics
Rubber packet? Am I missing some in joke or does such a thing exist? It's a diesel not a Durex
