Hexham or Newcastle Service (mechanic rqrd)

Post by camos75 »

Good evening all

I have left another topic regarding the starting of vehicle on grass earlier.
I have a nother couple of questions:

1. What is the fishy smell in my cab (I had just washed the motor and suspect water in the grill?)
2. My T25 - newly acquired, is a little noisy and raspy in low gears, perfect once we hit third, is this normal?
3. My Speedometre has started ticking until we hit 40 MPH?
4. Does any one know of - or would a fellow member be interested in servicing my engine?
( The previous owner - my wifes uncle, mentioned that a part of it needs to be turned 5 degrees with Vacum out before running the engine. I only know a few Mechanics...Can do a Oil and Filter change and that is about it as well as weekly checks on water reservoir, C&B Fluid, Oil and Tyres etc.)

I can see I will probably need to learn as much as poss and fast... However I am sure it will be worth it.... And Fun (if costly)

Happy to leave my number for mechanic in Hexham / Newcastle area to contact.

Many thanks

Thanks Edoh mate. Thay all seem to be a bit far though.
Was looking for something in Newcastle as the furthest, ideally Hexham or Carlisle.

Thanks for recommending though, I may consider the yorkshire lads.

Cheers
