What is the best way to glue a new engine lid seal in place? Best glue to use etc?

'tiger seal ' iv not found anything that it can't stick.

I hope it isn't a Just Krappers one - they are too solid and make the lid difficult to put on. I bought one from there before I grew up and knew better!
