Crusader Decals

Post by max.karisma »

My camper is undergoing bodywork at the mo and I would like to keep original stickers. My panel van was converted by Leisure Drive and has a Crusader sticker on the tail gate which I want to paint.

I have looked on-line and can only find Leisure Drive organisations that want to see original paperwork in order to send out decals.

I have the orginal purchase receipt for van but not the Leisure Drive receipt only a plaque with address on that now doesn't seem to exist.

Could anyone suggest where I may look in order to find a replacement decal?

Thanks, Max

Can't you just take a photo of it with measurements and go to a place that makes vinyl signs?

Thanks, but I forgot to say that the decal is nearly the same shade now as the van, a grey green. The photo definition would not be clear enough to pick up the detail, I create artwork and signs as part of my job so I do feel it wouldn't be good enough.

Syncro Irish David who is a vinyl signmaker has suggested a fine paper rubbing of decal (which is a cut out of a horse mounted flag carrying crusader!), then scan and computer generate the edges . . . not a five minute job but it could work if I can't find an original sticker.
