What's the most simple replacement for a 1.9dg

Post by magicbus »

We've done a few scooby and a v6 cologne conversion but this customer wants something cheaper, what's the cheapest reliable replacement for a 1.9 dg, what prts are needed from the donor car and what if any special parts are needed?

Thanks in advance,

staf

2ltr golf engine 2E or AGG. diesel bell housing & engine bars required. Some may frown but a good reliable engine & cheap to buy from salvage yards.
