Waste water container

Post by Sleedale »

Hi all, not sure if this goes here, feel free to move it if needed.
We have one of those rather large black waste water containers, the one with a hole both on the top and in the side so it can lay down under the van and the waste hose fits into it, you know the sort. Well, yes it works but it also takes up a large amount of space storage in the van, and it looks pretty horrid, functional but horrid.
So, does anyone have any alternatives? I was thinking about using a collapsible water carrier, it'd have to be emptied more often cos it wouldn't fit fully extended under the van I suppose, so I'm looking for ideas.

Thanks peeps

I had one of those containers. It still wasn't big enough to stop me driving off and leaving it in the Lake District. When I got a replacement I decided to get something a bit smaller and ended up getting one made for oil changes.

It's slimmer and more compact but plenty big enough for a weekend's cooking etc.

Have you thought of using an under slung waste tank ? We've got one on our t3, fill up and open the tap at little on the way home ;-)
