panel repair

hi,has anyone had to repair this panel?
i can press new panel to fit but the u bend that the cover sits on has rotton away just about, can it be renewed?thanks

never done it,but schofields sell a good quality one for bay windows,id guess itl be the same may be a different length give schofields a ring theyl be able to tell you.

I cut the old ones of and reuse if ok after replacing the rusty stuff in you picky

I removed mine, grit blasted all the rust off, acid treated, then put back on.

im just scrapping a van , this may have a good repair section ?

good on you billy, and even if the panal at the rear of it is iffy the cover channals are usually good as made of ........sterner stuff

thanks for spare panel but i have pressed one out yes schofields sell them that fit bay have to cut it down thanks for that
