... and for cheap set, but one that'll cut many threads if you use them properly, without problems is this Silverline kit...

About £30 from Amazon. You might need a better tap wrench after a while, but the taps and dies are quite OK for the dosh. Even metal box is OK, or mine still is 6 years later, like most such, a sheet of thick cardboard helps stop stuff rattling loose

no i think it was a guy from sheffield way was looking for M8 i think, agree though that the carbon ones will do the job ok , they are a bit springy/snappy if you try and and make a thread from scratch and are rough/numb and abusive forcing it to cut, but used correctly will do very nicely and lets face it most of the tapping on these vans is cleaning threads up as opposed to making new ones.
I always recut threads after repairs as its such a pleasure to screw a bolt/screw in by hand and only takes minutes to do
