Would like to get a new eberspacher for my Westy 1.6TD and seeking any advice from others who have installed theirs. Where's a good place to buy? - looking for the complete kt, seen ones on ebay here in the UK and Germany. Is it a seasonal thing, like are there discounts over the summer?
I've read up on installation and watched the campervanculture vid a few times. I think it's something I can do but always good to get first hand knowledge from you guys who have done it.
Thanks for any help!

Have a look for a company that sells ex British Telecom vans near to you. The chances are they will have taken the ebbers out and will sell you one and most have had hardly any use. There is one near us that does the unit, digital 7 day timer, exhaust, pump and Transit loom for £300 if you wave a wad of £20 notes under his nose.
Hope this helps,
Jed

Hey Jed,
Thanks for that... not sure I want a used unit. They're probably OK but leaning towards a new one for safety's sake.
Is that you on the campervanculture video? That's a great tutorial and many thanks for taking the time to put it together - thumbs up on the background music too.

Most people buy secondhand, due to the cost of new. That includes me and I like chucking money at my van
Oldiebutgoodie on here sells ones he's refurbed, might be worth a pm to him?

Time is a drug. Too much of it kills you
