If you can find 75W90 in a GL4 (Comma sell it) otherwise an 80W90 GL4.
The slightly thinner oil improves gear shifting from cold.

Hi,

The reason for not using the newer GL5 you have bought is because it contains additives which can damage the soft metal components within the gearbox. I initially made the same mistake as you but changed to the correct spec as soon as I found out. Replacing it with the correct oil is alot cheaper than a gearbox rebuild!

Wilkinsons usually sell the GL4 (Comma) at a good price

Yes, 80/90 GL4 will be fine, its what I have in mine. First to second change from a frosty start can sometimes be a bit stiff/slow but after that its fine.
