I have a Draper 12amp intelegent charger that is hard wired via a simple switch to either the main battery or the leisure.
It's the 12amp version of this but can't find a link to the exact one right now
To be honest as my van is a daily driver, I hardly ever need to charge the main battery, so don't use the switchover much

Re: Intelligent charger recommendations
I bought a Ctek MXS 5.o last year. Only a 5a version, but perfect for trickle charging the leisure battery or main battery. Only £60!!
Its hard wired to the main battery at the moment so plugs into the 240v socket when hooked up on the drive when the camper has not been used for a while
I have bought the leads with the 3 stage charge lights built in but have not got round to installing those yet.
Great bit of kit
