Super viking exterior roof handles

Post by kebrooks »

Hi all

Anyone know where i can get 2 replacement exterior roof pull handles? (The ones by the roof catches if you don't get what i mean!!)

We don't have the originals, instead 2 lovely wrought iron ones that look like they should be on a garden gate.

Any ideas?

How about some interior grab handles off any big VW van? T4 for example.
Would look better than wrought iron...but different fitting pattern might mean some patching...

If the originals are like the ones that were on mine were hung, drawn, quartered, burned at the stake and put out in the dustbin, they are buttugly nasty things.

Yours sound better already!

I'd go to a hardware shop and get some nice stainless ones or something. I'm hoping not to have to fit any to mine at all 8)

Duct Tape can't fix stupid, but it can MUFFLE the sound.

I'll check out the interior grab handles, they might be just the job. The roof is coming off any minute for new bellows and a tidy up so some patching could be done then.

Thanks x

Hello
Where are you sourcing your bellows from?

And would you mind me asking how much?

I have had a quote of £600 ish from an awning
specialist close to me in Cambs.

Thanks

I got our new bellows last summer but never got round to fitting as all garages were booked up. We got the bellows from Proud to Pop (http://www.proudtopop.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Last year they cost £480 + £12.50 delivery for super viking bellows with the push out bed bit.

I am having them fitted in May so can let you know then what it ends up looking like - i hope it fits now!!

Were yours a custom job?

Thanks
