My petrol cap lock is very, very tight - threatening to snap the key when I use it - which isn't often, as the van is running on LPG.
Any tips on loosening it up. I've blown graphite powder lock stuff into the lock itself, but I think it's more the mechanism behind the cap needs freeing up.
Grease??

Re: Petrol Cap cleaning
I had exactly the same problem with mine. I doused it in 3 in 1, WD40, Diesel fuel (It is a diesel anyway) and everything else I could think of but it only made it slightly better for a short while so, being worried about snapping the ignition key off in the lock, I gave up and bought a new one from JK. All sorted now.

Re: Petrol Cap cleaning
Mine was a bit stiff too (fnar).
Stripped it apart and cleaned it.
Packed it with grease and good as new.
About 30 minutes work...
