No, he meant the fridge should be run through a dedicated fridge terminal on the split charge relay, or via a separate relay triggered off the same wire that triggers the split charge relay so that the fridge can ONLY come on when the engine is running. Reason = a normal camper fridge will draw 7 amps at a time and soon flatten either battery if the engine isn't running.

As John say's our fridge runs off the alternator supply when the engine is running and there is NO 12v feed it when the engine stops.
