rear springs
just had new rear springs fitted at garage and the van is sitting about inch and half lower than the front. Mechanic says they are the right springs listed for the van . It is an autohome conversion 1989 . Any ideas? kev

Re: rear springs
what was it like before?
lots of vans sit higher at the front , especially panel vans ; which is what yours once was; as they are fitted with the hardest springs and the fronts seem to give less than the rears
originally it probably came with yellow dot rears , blue dot fronts.
presuming your man fitted new springs , usually they will be the hardest yellow eqivelant

Re: rear springs
Thanks for reply , van was sitting straight . Have since checked with him and he took off yellow two striped . He now has ordered other ones for a type 2 as suggested by spring manufacturer . Will post back when done . kev
