where can i get a new bulb for the foglight switch need it for the MOT!
ive got it out..where can i get a bulb?

Halfords, its a W5 1.2W wedge base bulb.

I need a new holder then, as mine appears to be soldered into the holder?

Yep the original bulb and holder was as one, saved a pfennig on the production line and why no one bothered replacing them when they blew. Replacement is a separate W5 bulb and holder part number 321 919 039 from VW dealers.

I seam to remember I replaced my old camper one with a 12v Xmas tree bulb and holder many years ago, when that's all that was to hand......
