found some chrome hubcaps in bad rusty condition can these be brought back to good whether sprayed or re chromed and would this cost alot cheers if anyone can let us know.

Hi if they are in bad rusty condition you would be cheaper buying new ones :ok

Yeah thought so cheers its about 130 quid for new stainless steel ones though

I tried using chrome spray on some and they looked terrible. Bin em and get some new ones, but be sure to waxoyle or Vactan the insides before fitting them!

If I wax oil inside of chrome one will they last a while or not

It definitely prolongs the life of them, particularly with the lower grade Just Kampers ones. Mine have been on 4 years with no rusting. Tip I got off here!

Can someone tell me if I need fixing brackets wi em or do they just push on

They just push on to standard wheels. Need a good slap!

Nice one cheers do they come off easy when you hit bad potholes don't want to be losing em at 30 quid a peice

No, not if you make sure they're on all the way. As I said, they need quite a slap. Best to put them on and then roll the van forward a foot and check the side that was facing down. They should fit totally snug against the wheel. No gaps!
