Con rod stretch bolt or not stretch bolt

Post by NicBeeee »

Hi, I am going to check the con rod float tomorrow and whether the bearings need replacing, I am not sure if the bolts for the con rods are stretch bolts that will need replacing or not, I have read that a 2.1 needs to be replaced but not sure for a 1988 1.9 DG,

Thanks
Nic

Many thanks, after measuring they don`t need to come off as they are well within tolerance, but handy to know for future ref
