Eberspacher Ducting

Post by trucker »

Hi does anybody know where to purchase 90mm ducting for the air intake mine has partially collapsed, all the wire in it having rusted away which I think is restricting the intake too much making it smokey and eventually stop running.
Thanks
Paul.

I bought mine on ebay after a bit of a search. Its usually quite expensive but if you really look around you can get a reasonable deal.

JUst had a quick look. Seach for 'Ducting for eberspacher' and look for this type:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50mm-U1-Flexf ... 1c1f6c6995" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Obviously that link will only last a short while, but this particular one is described as 'Flexflyte' Make sure you get the right size - mine is 90 mm.

This is the actual stuff - but its expensive:
(SiliconHoses.com Heat Resistant Ducting/Induction Hose (4m)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SiliconHoses- ... 46052adce9" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The best search text seems to be "90 mm silicon ducting"

This stuff at Brickwerks looks like the original although I used the aluminium/paper stuff to replace one of the hoses on mine three years ago and so far it seems ok.

Cheers for the suggestions guys :ok
I managed to get hold of some cheap stuff to use for the time being until I'm sure I can get the bliddy thing working properly.
