Tdi passat installation angle

Post by Cableguy »

Ok, a really boring question that I hope someone knows the answer to. I've always thought the tdi's were installed at 15 degrees in the donor car, be it golf, Audi or whatever. Does anyone know whether this is correct?
I've spent ages looking online and have drawn a blank. :ok

Typical angle for longitudinal engines is 20 degrees.

Google for 'tdi_engine_cad_drawing_small.pdf'
Syncrosport (taking a break as of summer 2024)
Volkswagen Transporter, reloaded.
