Driveshafts?
I need a new set of driveshafts for my 1981 van and have been offered a set from a late van, will these fit or are early/late vans drive shafts different?

Re: Driveshafts?
early shafts like yours built pre july 1982 (or diesel 1.6 S799 built before end of dec 1982) have longer shafts

aidan, can you please give me the exact lengths and part numbers for those allegedly different sized shafts?
i've been swopping them out for years, late to early and vice versa and have never even measured them and never noticed any difference.
and i'd never heard of this mm difference till recently here on another post.
i haven't found any mention of it on german sites..............

once i get the definite information i'll be measuring the 100 or so shafts that i have and offering the "rare" early ( or late???) ones at a fantastic price.
